Sahaara Charitable Society, Mumbai works with a vision to fulfill dreams of the vulnerable and marginalised in society. The program participants currently being reintegrated through education, skill building and safe hostel interventions include commercial sex workers, released prisoners, children from government homes & red-light districts and their families.
Dheya is their strategic partner in mentoring, identifying suitable livelihood as per their strengths and other areas. Sahaara’s senior management team trained as Social Career Mentors is using Dheya’s psychometrics, tools and resources for guiding and mentoring their beneficiaries. They have mentored many of these youth for a happy and fruitful life.
Post online training which took place during the pandemic, an offline refresher training was held for Sahaara mentors at their office in Mumbai.
It was a energetic and interactive workshop, where many new ideas to give these youth holistic rehabilitation opportunities were discussed and planned for implementation in near future.
