Career Guidance Session of Bhoomika Gujalkar, MDA Beneficiary

Dheya is collaborating with Maharashtra Dyslexia Association (MDA) Mumbai, to encourage dyslexic students to build an independent future by helping them find their true strengths and suitable Career.
As part of our work, Dheya Career Mentor Cdr Ninad Deshpande (Retd), guided Bhoomika Gunjalkar, a 16 Yr old 10th std girl, on 18th June 2022. Bhumika is a smart and energetic girl with problems in reading, writing and Maths.
During the session Bhoomika got to understand her abilities, strengths and personality traits that emerged through her psychometric assessment. A structured, diligent and creative person Bhoomika is extremely good at drawing and sketching.
Considering her artistic side and her problems, she has been recommended to follow a career in Design or Fine arts. She is currently exploring various options recommended to her, till she finds the path that suits her the most.
We wish Bhoomika the best of luck and hope that she fulfills her potential in every stage of her life     and leads a happy life.

MDA is a not-for-profit organization committed to securing the rights of students with Dyslexia (also known as a ‘Specific Learning or Language Disability’) to an appropriate education. Started in 1996 by a group of parents and professionals, MDA creates awareness about Dyslexia within the educational community and the general public and advocates for the rights of these students.
